Mid-week and a chance for your lungs to get a little breather! And… they are going to need it. Thursday is judgement day. The day that I am personally a healthy bit afraid of. You are going to have a great time but, just relish in your day today; lifting heavy shit, slapping each others backside and drinking protein shakes!

Well that was new…now we sometimes get a couple of DNFs, especially when we wheel the Devil’s bikes out. Not even Satan himself will come to class, the cherry picking bastard! And really…who can blame him?!?

Now I know what you were all thinking, ‘what, 25 cals…is that “IT?”’ Well, maybe that’s what you would’ve been thinking had you not been on those death machines before. In fact the someone - who will remain nameless - actually said “I think I am close to death.” this morning.

Anyway, as I was saying, we have had a few DNFs before but never (ish) have we had a DNS (did not start)!

Ladies and Gentlemen we have a new king of drop off. Going from 23s in the first round, to not actually starting the last, one of your very own…drum roll please…Jack “Clive” Sealey!! Take a bow brother, that was impressive and very funny to watch!

What a sweaty, humid, and seriously cool night! As Speal warned you guys...that WoD was NOT comfortable! 
A great effort put forth by the bunch of you beasts! 

Now, get busy chucking some heavy shit above your head...

Start with an aggressively heavy barbell (around 80% of your 1RM push press) and aim to increase the load for each set, across each lift.

If you are confused, then simply make sure the bar is heavier than the last time you pick it up.

WoD - Wednesday 4th November 2015

For those of you who did the workout tonight, think yourselves lucky! There are those out there who can't get to the gym, they don't have the ability to perform the utter shitfests that are tackled by you ninja's everyday! Look at what happens to a "normal" human following a prolonged absence from the box...

There is very little we can do for this individual, aside involve him in constantly varied, functional movements, all performed at high intensity and banter him into the ground about his OCD and Daz doorstep challenge WHITE Beckham SHORTS.
