That post mid-week feeling! How good?! Very, right up until someone smacks you about a bit with a stinker of an interval.

Maybe I was experiencing hallucinating due to my sleep deprived state, but at 05:05 I’m sure listened to a woman complaining to the hotel receptionist that it was impossible to get a coffee, specifically with milk, at that time of the morning! 

Stood there in her PJs and slippers (who brings that to a hotel?), she chewed the poor dudes ear off for at least 7 minutes, visibly upset about the situation! I felt her pain, I’d have given my new ball trimmer to go back to bed with a milky hot cup of morale! 

Had I’d known what awaited me at each airport along the way, I may well have asked if she’d wanted some company!

Well that left a mark hey?! Everyone just loves an ASS bike sprint! I told you we had a special treat for hump day, now the rest of the week will be breezy as a result!

Now I’m sure it was merely the lasting effect of said workout, likely specifically the ass bike, but it appear to render some folk entirely incapable of normal thought or function. Particularly, Mairead, she was all over life once time had been called. Running around as if nothing had happened, returning equipment with ease and cycling off into the sunrise singing happily.
